With no additives or synthetic fibres, it's safe for microwave use when used correctly with food and sewn with 100% cotton thread and fabric. Safety & Care

• Do not use in the microwave without food present
• Use only 100% cotton batting, thread, and fabric for microwave projects
• Do not use batting that contains scrim
• Do not use more than two layers of batting, even at seams
• Cook in 1-minute intervals — maximum 8 minutes · never leave microwave unattended
• Do not use in convection/microwave combination ovens
• Wrap-N-Zap is not fire retardant or flame proof
